“In life, God accompanies persons,” Pope Francis says, “and we must accompany them, starting from their situation. We must accompany them with mercy.”  The Courage apostolate is the Church’s invitation to people who experience same-sex attractions, who desire to live in accord with the Gospel call to chastity.  A confidential support group led by a priest chaplain, Courage accompanies men and women along the road to integration, freedom and discipleship.  EnCourage is a ministry within the Catholic Church dedicated to the spiritual needs of parents, siblings, children, and other relatives and friends of persons who have same-sex attractions. Standing by the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, EnCourage members support one another and their loved ones through discussion, prayer and fellowship.  Visit the Courage website at www.couragerc.org if you want to learn more.  For more information about our local chapter please call:  215-587-4505 or email courage.philadelphia@gmail.com.
